La grotta del Fico
Nestled between the beautiful beaches of Ispuligidenie (Cala Mariolu) and Cala Biriala, and located near Cala goloritzè, is the stunning Grotta del Fico. In the limestone walls, at about 7 metres above sea level, is the entrance to Grotta del Fico. Inside the cave boardwalks make the passage safe, allowing visitors to walk where once was an underground river. The cave is renowned for the great number of sumps connecting to the sea and for the Monk Seals that used these syphons to reach the inner beaches and reproduce safely.
Free Climbing in Baunei
Santa Maria Navarrese and Baunei are the perfect place for sport climbing lovers. Recently both Santa Maria Navarrese and Baunei have become among the most famous climbing spots in Sardinia: the obelisk Aguglia di Goloritzé, the walls of the Villaggio Gallico and the crag at the marina in Santa Maria Navarrese.

The Trenino Verde is a tourist railway network operated by Ferrovie della Sardegna. The Trenino Verde will take you on a journey to the heart of Sardinia trundling along Sardinian mountainous countryside. Book a trip on board of the Trenino Verde steam train and step back in time!
